!- California -!

 Traveled to California last week for work! I hadnt been to California since my trip with Alli back in 2007. It was the first time I flew into LAX airport and we arrived at 5:00pm. (Not a good time to arrive in LA :) ) It took us two hours to drive 40 minutes. Crazy traffic! The day of the screening I was able to sit in Carl Edwards race car and take a picture with "Oreo." That night I got to see.....Alli!! Its been a long time since I have been able to see her. I was excited to have the opportunity to see her before she leaves on her mission to GA. We ate at Claim Jumper that night and then Alli and I walked the pier and drank starbucks. So good to catch up and talk! The next day Reanna and I drove into San Diego for work. We got to have a lil bit of beach time and some In and Out time. Barely made our flights back but made it to Dallas. Good trip.

I had the opportunity to visit Charlotte, NC for the the first time a couple weeks ago with my co-woker Crisanta. It was a fun trip and we even had a couple days where we were not even working at all. The first night we got there we drove to uptown Charlotte and ate at Mert's. It is a popular down home southern cookin place. Super good! The next day we worked and then relaxed for the rest of the night. Because we had the next two days off, the next day we drove into South Carolina and guess who I had the opportunity to see?....Give up?

It had been way too long. Im so greatful to have a job where I can travel and reunite with old friends. It was so nice to see her and catch up on each others lives. She is an amazing friend/ mother/ wife. It was so good seeing you Traci!

Crisanta and I shopped alot and toured Charlotte. It was a good trip. Pictures are from Traci.

Way behind on my blogging again, so time to catch up! Went to Chicago IL for a night with Kahaya. I havent been on a trip with her for awhile so it was good to catch up. The last time I went to Chicago was when I was a freshman in highschool for a footlocker CC trip. So it had been about 7-8 years since visiting the windy city. Since it was such a short trip there wasnt much time for us to do much of anything. We flew in, set up, and went and ate at the Grand Lux Cafe. It was very good and then we headed to the hotel. On the drive to the hotel we passed by Lake Michigan! Beautiful!

The next day we worked and flew back to Dallas. The pictures of Lake Michigan are from google but and the pictures of the city Kahaya took from the office we were working in. Good trip. :)
